VOCES DEL ALMA
Voces del Alma is the first bilingual anthology of original Chavacano poetry by multiple contributors.
Sombra y Luz (first edition of Voces del Alma)
The maiden issue of Voces del Alma is titled Sombra y Luz. The book contains more than twenty original poems by ten Zamboangueño writers from different backgrounds and generations, including both amateur and budding writers.
Every Chavacano poem in the anthology is accompanied by an English translation, making it accessible to a wider audience.
HISTORY
Sombra y Luz is the result of the first Bien Chabacano Poetry Writing Contest. Aside from contributions from writers both within and outside Zamboanga City, the anthology features works by participants in Bien Chabacano's first poetry writing contest.
MISSION
To be a platform for Chavacano poets, both new and emerging, to be heard.
VISION
To inspire more people, especially the youth to read, write, and appreciate our language.

EL DIUTAY PRINCIPE
El Diutay Principe is the Chavacano translation of Le Petit Prince or The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. It was translated and self-published by Jerome Herrera. First released in September 2018, it was reprinted in October of 2022 due to the continuous demand for books in Chavacano.
GOAL
To give dignity and elevate the prestige of the Chavacano language.
